9.5MM PRINTED FILMS IN THE UK
In the UK the majority of 9.5mm printed film releases came from Pathéscope Ltd - the UK offshoot of Pathé-Baby / S.C.I. Pathé in France; and after 1959, Pathéscope (Great Britain) Ltd - renamed after a UK buy-out.
However other companies did release printed films in
the 9.5mm format - in the UK these included:- Peak Films; A.B.
Pathé; Walton Films; Wallace Heaton; Diamond Films; Adventure
Films; LGP Cine; Paul Carnell; Novascope; and Presto Films.
I eventually intend to include lists of all these various film
releases - company by company.

9.5MM PRINTED FILMS IN FRANCE
In France it was the Pathé-Baby company (after 1950, SCI Pathé), originators of the 9.5mm movie gauge, who issued the largest number of 9.5mm films and it was only they in France who issued 9.5mm optical sound films. However after the second world war Film Office also issued a large number of 9.5mm printed films and they eventually took over the Pathé catalogue and master negatives etc. Other French 9.5mm printed films came from Cinak, Hefa, LaPierre, Pinguin and Tobis. It is eventually intended to include 9.5mm film lists for all of these companies.
A large French photographic retailer Mascre, had an extensive 9.5mm sound and silent film library during the 1930s. It is a puzzle for French collectors because Mascre used different reference numbers for most of the Pathe films in their library and in fact had many extra unknown titles. These unknown titles can generally be traced to - an early Pathe notched film being assembled on larger spools with running titles; or overseas 9.5mm releases being retitled (includinng the inter-titles) in French for their film library. Even so, it is possible there may well be other titles printed by Mascre themselves. However there were only one or two prints of each film and as far as I can tell, these films were never issued for sale. Hence no attempt to catalogue them here has been made.

9.5MM PRINTED FILMS IN THE USA
Pathé had a short foray with 9.5mm into the United States of America in the 1920s. The slump finished things, but read more in the introduction to the listings. Find out even more at American 9.5mm enthusiast Jerry Wagner's web-pages:- www.libertyship.com/pathe/
